國內板巖運用 

Use of Slate in China

?????      據考古學家考古發現，板巖在中國古代最早被用來作為磨刀石使用，至今已有2000年左右的歷史；近幾百年來盛產板巖的地區主要用作搭建屋頂材料，在當時被人們稱之為瓦片，現在稱之為瓦板。

       由于開采難度造成的高昂價格致使至今板巖在中國建筑運用中還不是太廣泛。當然，香格里拉板巖的開發可以打破這種格局，讓更多的人了解并使用板巖。 

According to archaeological findings, slate was first used in ancient China as whetstones more than 2,000 years ago. In recent centuries, it was mainly used to roof houses in slaterich regions, which people there once called tile and now roofing slate.

However, it is expensive to mine slate, the use of it as a building material is very limited in China. The slate development in Shangri-La can radically change the adverse and make slate known to more people. 

國外板巖運用 

Use of Slate in Other Countries

     在國外，早在1283年就被用作石板屋面材料使用，1700年威爾士板巖采石場出口就超過450,000噸的石板。

     現今歐美等國家板巖運用已極為廣泛，幾乎隨處可見。

As early as 1283, slate was used as a roofing material. For example, exports of slate from Welsh Slate Quarries only in the year of 1700 was over 450,000 tons. 

       The use of slate is widespread, if not everywhere, in today's Europe and the United States at the least.
